It was actually pretty fun, and I was offered the vice-president position at the end of the year. I couldn't take it because I ended up moving to North Carolina but I learned a lot from that experience  and my writing definitely improved.

 

I've actually taken a two year hiatus from blogging, and now I’m starting it back up again in my senior year. So I'm hoping I get better at this as I go along. One thing I wanted to do as I started my blog was to have a logo just to keep it fun and a little bit different from all the other NSLIY blogs out there. So I asked one of my friends from school who is a really talented artist to help me out, and she said yes, which I was really grateful for because then I would’ve had to make them and my art skills are not exactly the best. 

 

We talked about making a lot of different ones, which I'm not sure will happen now, but I'm happy with the ones I have now.
